Ok I renewed my house insurance yesterday and got told that they will not insure my orange 5 as it is worth more than 2k. I said I was happy with the limit but they still refused.

Having recently having my bike stolen away from home what, if any, insurance do you guys have?

Unfortunately you will find that it will cost you more now having to insure it separately. Thankfully saved myself a wedge specifying my five with m&s on the house cover as separate bike insurance plus house came to a good 150 quid a year more.

Are you within your cool down period for your house insurance? Cancel it and go with a company that will cover it!

I'm also looking - did you get any more recommendations.

Thanks

I used Amex insurance when I renewed ours. The new policy covers my bike at £4.5k, a couple of nice watches and wife's engagement ring etc and was about £10 a year more than Lloyds without the bike on.
Came in about £270 for b & c.
