Right then after reading about so many people getting their bikes stolen I'm becoming a bit paranoid. Does anyone have their bike insured or not? What's the forums thoughts?

Same here, still lock them away etc but stress less about risks.

I've got mine covered under the house insurance, as above it gives me peace of mind even though the amount it's insured for wouldn't buy me another one!

Get it insured mate!!

I have the mine insured under my household insurance but their is normally an upper limit to what you can claim say £3,00 or so. That made me wonder if people have a bike specific policy that you can see online. Although it's almost as much as my car insurance so i don't think i would bother.
