Bike Holiday ideas?

I'm looking for ideas for a group MTB holiday.  As a group we have all done various Alps trips, Finale, Madeira etc so looking for some new / different options to consider for next year.

Generally we go down the "package" option ie accommodation, uplift, guiding etc all in but not averse to planning something ourselves but would definitely be looking for uplift / lift options, with a mix of trails (not just bike park) and some decent local Apres options are always a bonus.

Has anyone done any group trips they can recommend?

Starters for 10...

Pyrenees,  Sierra Nevada (Southern Spain), Slovenia, Morocco, USA, Canada...

I'm sure there's places in the Alps you wont have ridden too.

Stoneking Rally.

Just back from doing a club week - however it would be pretty easy to book your own Coolbus or 3sixty Transfers van/driver (worth it as they know the route very well and some of the uplifts are, ahem, "challenging"), then follow the trails on Komoot (which is all we did on club week - there's just more people and a bit more of the logistics done for you). The hotels/overnight locations are pretty obvious, and we ate some great food en-route.

Riding wise, its one of the best things I've done on a bike - radically rewrote my "top 10 best trails ever" list.

Not cheap, but I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

Haute Route from Chamonix - Zermatt? kinda on my bucket list, but fear i'm getting too old.
Might lack the uplift options

We have a trip every year, this summer it was Bansko in Bulgaria with out the park tours.

absolutely brilliant trip, as good as anything in the Alps, at a fraction of the price, stunning riding, great food and natural hot springs to relax in with a beer post ride. Recommended.

I'm just back from a week with Out the park tours in Bansko. Really enjoyed it. Well worth a look.

Singletracksafari.com  in Andorra has a good mix of trails.

Park on the doorstep then lots of off the beaten track. Not been for a few years but other than in the park never saw another biker other than group I was with.

Fly to Barcelona

Backcountry for me too. More van uplifting than I expected but the trailer was very easy to load/unload quickly.

@goslow

Decent amount of descending for the amount in the van? I've just done a week somewhere else and don't think the amount of time in the van was worth the short descents. Are they decent quality vans rather than landrovers? I get car sick so struggle if I'm not facing forwards and if it's bumpy and rutted.

Whiteroom is my go to recommendation if you’ve not been before. In lift season if apres is important for you.

@golfchick

We did tot the riding up for the week:

164km with 1922m climbing and 13067m descending. They use a good mini bus, the trailer was very easy to load and unload. The longer van trips were typically first thing in the morning,  uplifts during the day were quite short and descents could take a while. Most of the drives were on tarmac, a relatively short time on a rough track.
