Anyone know of any bike hire places near Llafranc ?
Just fancy a short ride each morning (1h) so can be MB, road or hybrid.
Coast route north looks ok for a road route ..any other suggestions or off road routes welcome!
IIRC the wee campsite in Calella de Palafrugell hired bikes, 5-10 minute walk from Llafranc. Never cycled when we were there, went twice when the little un was a baby, I'd pretty much guarantee that whichever road you go it's gonna be proper 'undulating'!.

OK that campsite confirmed they only rent bikes to people staying there.
I've emailed 2 other places in Palafrugell.
LOvely part of the world. Coast road in either direction is stunning.
If you have a hire car, there's bound to be places to hire bikes fro the week up in roses or estartit.
To be honest, not having a hire car would be a bind, there's so many gorgeous places to visit - peratallada is a lovely walled city with some lovely eateries - then there's all the little cove villages - sa tuna, begur, tamariu, fornells.....
Girona is a gorgeous city too, palamos for the best prawns you'll ever taste, and cadaques is a beautiful drive and town.
I need to get back there.....

In the end didn't hire a bike but it is indeed beautiful round there, and for anyone who finds this thread and is interested in hiring in the future:
Can hire bikes through tourist information in Llafranc but expensive and I'm not sure of type.
At least 2 bike hire places in Palafrugell:
