Basically wanting to take 8 year old for half a day mountain biking.
Needing bikes, helmets, lift passes etc.
Any recommendations on bike hire?
Would it be as cheap to book us both on a lesson for half a day?
Thanks
Bike Hire - Torrico.
It'll be way more expensive to book a lesson and you'll still need bikes and passes.
For bikes there's plenty of options but Torico is good. You'll have to hire the whole day I think
For the lift pass there is a half day pass in the afternoon but I think you are better off in the morning as if you get on well with it you can play all day. If you just stick to one area you can buy a book of tickets which should work out a little cheaper unless you are absolutely smashing it.
There's plenty of options for less confident riders and kids (I'm a bit loathed to lump all kids together as there are plenty that are way better than me but you know what I mean). The green in Les Gets is nice as is the new Green between Super Morzine and Avoriaz. From there you can put a nice loop through Linderettes and back to Morzine Via the lac
Oops misread something
Was 120 euros for half day coaching for 2 but it didn't include lift pass or bikehire
There was a place in Les Gets at the lift (French VTT School?) that advertised english speakers and 'full package' of bike, kit, instruction and lift pass. IN addition there is a couple of 'coaching line' runs.
