I need to have the flexibility of youth!

So tried a bike or two out - looking for a full suspension trail bike, decent climber and good all rounder for moors and fells including the road work up and between the off road.

I am finding the low, in long low slack, a problem for my knackered neck and back. I had a 170mm fork, 35 mm of spacers and a 40 mm rise bar to get half comfortable. My stooge has a head tube of 150mm and rigid forks and is comfy.

Are there any bikes with a decent head tube length or how do I get a comfy position. I am old, apparently 54, is old.
