I'm after a somewhat fitted cover for 4 bikes to sit outside, temporarily while we get a more robust shed built. Ideally it'd be a single cover fitting 4 bikes, so I can lock the bikes all together; but while there's lots out there for 1 or 2 bikes, there's not much beyond that.
Ideally I suppose a 4-bike version of this: https://www.decathlon.ie/bike-covers/304094-63245-protective-cover-for-2-bikes.html#/demodelsize-254no_size/demodelcolor-8517459
...but can anyone recommend anything better? Cheers
For the 'live outdoor/town/station/shopping/general utility' bikes that we don't really worry about the security of, we have a large heavy duty tarpaulin attached to a fence along the length of the tarpaulin at about 5 feet high. The other end of the tarpaulin that runs parallel with the fence has a few bits of timber fixed to, to give it some weight.
We just wheel the bikes under the tarp and lean them against the fence, the weighted end goes over the bikes and down to near the ground. We don't get any issues with puddling on the tarp, or excessive flapping in the wind
Ah cheers peekay, good thinking, will take a look at that
I bought one of the two bike size in the CRC sale - £25 reduced to £6 and it does the job. Seems robust enough, though Im keeping it at aging parents house so the ebike isnt sitting out in the rain when i visit.
.
Used it a couple of times and I'm glad I bought it. Bike sitting out, though waterproof is still an ebike sitting out in the rain, and this does away totally any worries.
What about something from the oxfordproducts.com motorcycle covers range?
We bought some XYZCTEM Motorbike Cover, Waterproof Heavy Duty Durable Thick 210D Fabric, All Season Outdoor Protection for Motorcycle long from Amazon, you can get three large road bikes under them no problem
This is the one I got
Has holes in it so you could put the two covers(4 bikes together) and pass a chain through the lot of them.
