A bit late at night I know, but I need to send a bike to my daughter in NewZealand, I've just done an online search, quotes coming at about £300 upwards! Is this right? Anyone experience of this, with some more wallet friendly ideas? That's just silly expensive

yep as above get the size of the box right, there a max girth of the box so a standard bike box may need to be shortened. should be doable for about 250 if you get it right for 7 day turnaround air freight - did 6 bikes last year to Oz that way.
