[Closed] bike building... why is there always a part you forgot to order?

Was hopefully going to get my tripster finished today.. went to fit the front mech.. and..
I forgot the seat tube diameter is different to the mech in my hand.
Managed to find a brake adapter that fitted the forks after an hour searching round my shed though.
I suspect the chain I took off my pro6 will be 2 links too short too.

Mech adaptors can normally be had from your LBS as they have a pile of them through fitting 34.6 to 34.6 and being supplied with one spare every time.

I've never forgotten anything, just got it wrong, like there being thin air between my seatpost and the frame when it was at the right height - I was a couple of inches short...

The mech clamp is too small in diameter.

I think I've got every part I need for mine, except the stickers. That's me jinxed obviously.

Got my new frame in the post today and the bloody couriers have bashed it around and I think it may have bent/twisted the hanger... Its never straight forward is it!
