Anyone use one? I don't have any issues with a bag and travel regulary with my bike in a bag, however work are looking into a bike boc to carry equipment around in as its just about big enough. The thing I'm worried about is the cheaper boxes look a bit thing and fragile? Anyone have any issues with the cheap end of the market boxes?

Go to your LBS, they will give you all the boxes you like. The ones they get bikes delivered in. Ive used them all the time and they are strong, free and you dont have to worry about them as drag them along the ground from the airport to the hotel 🙂

They are good enough for new bikes being delivered by careless couriers, so they should last for one round trip on a plane. They are disposable, since they are free and easy to get hold of.

Get one and try it out first if your not sure.

We can't turn up to a customers site with a cardboard box that has been battered around with £30-40000 worth of equipment inside it! Thats why we're looking for a reusable nice looking alternative to cardboard 🙂
I use a cardboard inner in my bikebag but a bag isn't what we're looking for really.

Thanks

I bought one of these from Wiggle last year for about £120 IIRC, and it was fantastic..

Weighs a bit mind, and I doubt my Heckler would fit in it, but my Handjob had a problem free trip to Kaprun.
