Having just moved to a flat what are the best options for a bike bag/ cover which i can zip my bike up in at the end of a ride to keep the back of the car clean and then store in spare room?

Don't plan to use it for proper travel so an expensive bike bag is overkill. Happy to take both wheels off each time but don't want to have to remove/ turn bars.

Seen this advertised around the place. Look interesting, but can't give any feedback as to whether it sucks or not:

Interesting to hear other people's feedback if they've used them. One thing's for sure - they ain't cheap!

Polaris make a bike cover, it’s pretty well padded and Velcro’s on, don’t think it fully covers the wheels though. Mine is being delivered today

If you can get hold of one the Duffbag Monster does the trick with just the front wheel off. I've used mine for in hotels etc. and storing in the back of the car when I want it to be a bit more stealthy.

Turns out I can’t see it on the site.i preordered mine. Cotic has all their bikes wrapped in them on the demo van. Think I emailed Polaris about it

I'd give up on that idea unless you can find one second hand. I waited 4 months to arrive 3 years ago. Then they seemed to go quiet. Someone is claiming to sell them on Amazon under a different name, so ordered one before Crimbo, turns out it's likely the same folks still ripping people off 3 years later... It's a shame as they are really good.

EVOC do a similar kind of thing but it's a fair bit more expensive, looks pretty good though!

Can't you just get a big tarpaulin, fold it in half and use some zips / press studs / Velcro to create a big, bike sized envelope?

A mate has a Velosock and rates it. I fancy one for my towbar mounted rack as it's a lot less flappy than other styles so might actually survive a few journeys.

I use one of these, bike fits in with just front wheel off. Seller was selling them singularly.

Solar panel bag
