I have no idea whether this is any good but Runtastic Mountain Bike Pro app is free today on Apple Store and Google Play. Usually costs a fiver afaik.

It's actually pretty good - it came up on the old 12 days of Xmas thing Apple used to do. It does all the stuff Strava does... except no timed stages or KOMs etc.
If like me you found yourself taking stupid risks to try to trim 0.01s from some section or other, it's a good alternative.
Strava and Endomondo are free already ?
It has features that Strava want a premium sub for, whilst it lacks some that Strava has for free. It's a good alternative if you're not interested in chasing KOMs etc.

Have used Runtastic for about 10 years now, originally on blackberry and the New iOS Offline mapping (ocm) on the MTB version is invaluable. You can even get it to do fairly crude navigation.
