I’m off to Finale Ligure, Italy for 4 days guided mountain biking in September. Was there 7 years ago so am familiar with the challenges that lay ahead.
I’m hiring a bike when there and am looking for recommendations for:
- Dangerous activity (personal insurance)
- Insurance to cover the hire bike (I am liable for parts only)
Does anyone know of any companies where I can get both together?….. thanks.
I’ve always used dogtag travel insurance for the body part (though, never had to to claim), and when I’ve hired bikes, paid an indemnity to cover any bike damage, does the hire company not offer that?
Thanks Tom. They’ve given me a link to get the bike covered so I can get both independently but was wondering if I can find a company that does both.
I've used Snowcard as they cover bikes as well as me (never claimed so don't know they fair in the event that happens) Also don't know if it has to be my bike, never checked hire bikes but worth a look at their T&Cs I guess
