So I'm back to ask for some more advice about bike choice.

I did have reserved/quoted with Wiggle a Vitus Mythique 29 VRX as part of my cyclescheme.
I was waiting for my certificate (£1500) and the quote was due to expire. I attempted to get them to get them to extend the quote, or take part or full cash deposit to keep reserving the bike as they'd been out of stock for over a week and they finally contacted me 1 day after the quote expired and told me they had sold it already (Complete BS they had sold it previously I suspect as the stock alert never popped up)

Anyway, I'm now back to square one and so many bikes seem out of stock.

Can anyone recommend a FS bike around the £1500 mark, probably has to be lower as I doubt they'll let me over spend with cash. I do want 29's as before the lockdown I did try a few at a local shop but sadly they are out of stock as well now.

Sorry for the moan I partly wanted to vent as well as look for advice.

Yeah I did look, its probably the last on my list if I have to go for it, not saying its a bad bike, just not entirely what I was looking for.

Giant Trance 29er 2 is on at Pedalon for £200 over, if it's possible to top up.

Which cyclescheme? If Halfords, the Boardman MTR range are worth a look.

CycleScheme CycleScheme, not the Cycle2Work one, I think Halfords only use the latter as they helped/invovled with setting it up.

Ah looks like Top-Up isn't allowed any more, at least not with Pedalon 🙁
