Hi, I am currently thinking of upgrading my bike, on one inbred 120 forks. I just can't decide between a full sus 160 am bike or a stanton switch back. I find my current bike pretty harsh over rock gardens etc, causing me to lose speed. If I got a full sus it would be something slightly older like a transition covert 2012 26". Would I feel much difference in a switch back compared to the inbred, obviously I would have more travel on the front and 27.5 wheels. My main type of ridding is single tracks/ woods nothing hardcore biggest drop is about 5 foot. I would appreciate and advice. Cheers.

Five feet (if it's to flat) is hardcore enough for me.....

In all honestly most of the other drops are considerably smaller. Think biggest one has a nice run up and smooth landing, with a slight descent. Do you think I would benefit from a full sus?

Could you borrow a mates fs to try out? Or hire something to see?

Full sus bikes aren't really about hitting a single drop, or one rock garden. A decent full sus will take the sting out of a long rocky, rutted or rooty descent, and make you less fatigued.
