The weather has been amazing in N.I over the last few weeks. I've been getting out on the MTB lots so I got myself a GoPro to keep me occupied over the furlough period. Here's my first edit from the ironically named 'Bigwood'. A tiny hill, really only a 10 min climb to the top, but a great variety of amazing natural trails on the way down. Riding with some good mates who also happen to be some of the fastest enduro racers in the country. Enjoyed making it, hope you enjoy watching it!

*edit 15mins later... howwww do you get this bloody thing to post a video rather than a link!*

Where abouts in the north of Ireland is that? I was in Cushendall for a wedding earlier this year, took the bike over but the weather was pants (around feb time when storm shitname was in full effect) and the Guinness was too good.

nice video too, “smash the like button to remove the leaf from the lense” hahahahaha top stuff!

Haha, glad you liked it! The editing was more fun than I thought it would be.
It's hard enough to find, just off the side of a main road between Newry and Warrenpoint, you just park on the side of the main road and hope for the best! A little forest with a functional quarry in the middle!

Any tips how to find the trails?
I’m from Rostrevor but live in Belfast now.
Only tried once but was just cycling around in circles!
Thanks.

Hahaha, it was that simple all along 🙄 Thanks Nobeerinthefridge!
Yes absolutely, it's a bit dead in the wet! The trails that aren't too pedally are still ok though, sometimes I like it because it's not tooo dangerous in the wet compared to the other locals!
Donncha, the trailforks page is pretty good for Bigwood. I've looked at it but never used it as such, it should give you a good idea if you're going down on your own. Otherwise, get down on a Saturday/Sunday morning and I'm sure there will be plenty of guys there more than happy to show you the runs they're doing, it's really busy these days. The trail head is easy to find as it's only one hill, but as you say its very easy to end up going in circles as so many trails intersect and have new/old branches off them! I relate to that after my first few times!
