In the real world has anyone run a larger than 36 tooth sprocket with a zee mech?

Is there a gubbins that would make it work?

I want a 42 tooth on the back.

I had a 40t on both a HT and a FS with no gubbins.

I'm running a 46t with a "goatlink" and the one up RadR cage.

I'm running a 40 tooth cassette on my five with a RadR cage on a zee mech.

I ran a 42t cassette on the FR version with no issues for a long time. Would seem to be frame specific whether you need a goat link etc.

That sounds promising. It's on a hard tail so will buy a cassette on its own first.

I found the zee a right pain in the arse even with a 36t on my Solaris, however I've now changed to a Radr cage and run a sunrace 11-42 with no issues.

Look @ garbaruk extender cages.

I'm running one on my x0 med cage and get 42in it easy.

Very nice parts.

running 40t and Zee short cage with no issues. It might make a little more rumbly noises than a mid/long cage, but still works.
