Sorry 😆

It's taken nearly 2 years to build but finally put together my training bike come single speed.

Dare I say it actually rides like a dream.

Thanks.

It's flip flop, hence no rear brake and the chain is a little slack.

The rims are Ambrosio Excersion. They took forever to source.

Lush. But won't the black anodising wear off the front pretty quick? In fact, is it even supposed to be used with a rim brake?

Very nice, great colour!

It's actually raw. After I got it back from the blasters I like the colour so much I'm not going to powder coat it. It'll live indoors and (hopefully) a wire wool and an oily rag every now and than will keep the worst of the rust at bay.

Yup they're fine for rim brake, they even have the wear indicator. The colour will obviously wear but I can live with that. I was after an all black rim and the Excursion fitted the bill perfectly, even if they took 3 months to arrive.

epicyclo, keef. Those bikea re lovely. Although i'm an MTBer for life, there's definitely something about classy simple lines of older bikes 🙂
