I know Si is on here, so this is kind of a public 'cheers mate!' from me.
have a chumba HX2, bought from ton from this here parish at the start of the year. Bloody love it. Brilliant bike. Asked Si like 6 months ago about derailleur hangers, and he said he had them and could get them to me. I then never did anything about it until, yes, you've guessed it, for the first time in my mtbing life, I snapped it clean off on a Sunday ride. 👿
I carried a spare for my old bike for 3 years and never needed it, so you can imagine how pissed off I was! It wasn't even doing anything extreme to the max, just entering another bit of single track and a branch got stuck in the wheel and ..... SNAP clunk.
Of coursse emailed Si that night, begging for help, got a response (Sunday night on a bank holiday weekend!) immediately, 2 hangers posted immediately to friends in fife (who are coming out to visit us this weekend in CH), arrived yesterday at the address.
Truly outstanding, brilliant work sir. that's Si from Progessive and Hope brake fellas at the top of the customer service pile.
