I have discovered a problem with my drivetrain. Have a gt zaskar 100 9r carbon FS, with an x7 front mech, whihc is bottom pull.
Simple thing really but when it's clean etc it changes gear no worries on the front, however after a couple of miles when it's muddy it doesn't shift into the big ring. Running 2x10. Could this be an indexing issue or a just a mud issue? Could the mud be the issue? Or is there a tech problem?
It's annoying as if I want to big ring it down some hills I can't.

You probably want an extra bit of tension in the front cable. 1 or 2 turns of the barrel adjuster should do it. You may need to release the H screw on the front mech by half a turn too.
Cheers shortcut, it nevers fails to amaze how I can ask a random question like that and get a response like that!
With the barrel adjusters, you're best trying no more than half a turn at a time.
And I definitely concur with the limit screw adjustment, too!
