What kind of insurance do you want?

I asked this question a few weeks back. I checked out the Which website and NFU had good customer satisfaction and the price isn't too steep. You can get cheaper, e.g. esure, but I searched esure reviews and it really out me off. No point having insurance if they dick you about when you need to claim.

I got NFU home insurance with £5000 of bikes with away from home cover for £430. My home insurance is about £300 anyway, so it seemed reasonable.

If it's as part of your home insurance, try Green Insurance.

Green insurance were the only company that would cover the value of bikes I needed, and that was only at home.

Got mine all covered with my contents with the AA. Each bike specified make and model is all they wanted. Just have plenty of pictures of them with spangly bits and you riding them to prove it.

Mine are covered home and away - as long as they are locked to something secure.

Hi mate, for bike insurance i found that my contents did cover it, but i do know that not all companies will cover the full cost of the bike dependent on the value, i myself am actually looking for a bike for my wife for xmas, more specifically a dutch bike? the reason i put a question mark is because i didn't know this was a type of bike? i Googled it and came across these guys for dutch bikes but i would like to have a butchers at more than one site for prices. do you have any ideas?

cheers
Ian
