I did a general maintenance and clean of both my road and CX bikes on Saturday afternoon, and as a final touch, used some "Back to Black" tyre cleaner on the tyres. I don't know if anyone on here has ever done this as I don't recall it being mentioned before, but...
What a revelation!
The bikes were already looking good, but the shiny new black tyres are just the icing on the cake.
So, assuming I don't contaminate any braking surfaces, are there any hazards? If not, I highly recommend it!

You absolute tart 🙂
Apart from the big warning not to use it on motorcycle tyres?
Whoops. Missed that. 🙂 If it helps, I did my best to avoid the tread surfaces.
You absolute tart
Yeah, I can't really disagree.
