Afternoon, I want to purchase some new shorts, can't afford the like of assos etc, so looking at the above. They need to be good as the pearl izumi select ones I bought I dont get on with at all.

Any advice?

I like the conti ones , they at least used to be a decent quality short!

They have good reviews on the pbk website!

I tried some Dedication sorts and the liner is bloody horrible. Too wide, not flexy enough and just feels like you are wearing an ill fitting nappy.
Have you tried dhb (wiggle) or Funkier (CRC). Mate has got some Funkier ones and loves them.

dhb are good value for money, I've just ordered some of the Howies ones after some good comments on here

The more expensive Decathlon bibshorts are pretty good, just depends how much you want to spend there. And I found the sizing a little "continental" ie tight!

Zipfit, out of stock till July but by far the best bibs for the money I've had. Top pad and fit, as good as other expensive Italian ones I have. 40 quid but they are on sale often.
