Are there ny bibs out there made from really thin material? And probbaly shorter than shorts?
The lining for my decathlon shorts has come away from the chamois so I need some padded shorts that won't make me sweat too badly. I tried my normal DHB's and they're too thick to be comfortable.
Ohh, and bibs as no one want's to see a fat arse hanging out of the back of some shorts!
I've always just worn normal bibs but there are ultra-lightweight bibs out there (but they're also usually pricey to), Castelli body paint and Mavic heliums come to mind.
I find Skins to be reasonably cool under baggies.
SportsDirect sell Muddy Fox bib shorts, not sure of the quality but probably quite thin 😉
Endura Coolmax on the CRC private sale at £31 at the mo
Genuine question, why don't baggy shorts come with braces? They'd be under a jersey so no fassion reason. They'd stop them riding down and exposing the full moon, and the shorts wouldn't get low enough to snag the crotch on the saddle.
I tried my normal DHB's and they're too thick to be comfortable.
Have you tried the dhb liner undershorts?
Not bibs, but I like em. Comfortable without being too bulky or thick and high enough that there are no moon issues.

(some sizes seem to have been discontinued 🙁 )
I saw those, and a few other brands doing similar, but wondered why there isn't much like that but with bibs.
What you want are some Mavic Stratos undershorts
My Giordana Tenax bibshorts are pretty thin and cool (more so than Endura Coolmax ones) and work fine under baggies. Definitely a gap in the market for bib liners though.
