Anyone come across the following with a Bfe and rock shox revelations 426. When turning the forks the silver dial for the flood gate hits the downtube. The top cap on the other side only just misses.
Is this normal?

What headset?
Happneed with my Soul and my old pikes (same design, IIRC) using the Iodine headset.
You can get a "+5" headset from On-One (among other places) for exactly this issue - or just pick a headset with a chunkier bottom cup.
Superstar uno 11.5mm lower cup height according to the website. Looks like I may have to shell out for a new headset then.

Hope also do an extra thick crown race for this problem.
But their normal headset may be okay.
My Soul had 426 Revs (2 different pairs actually) and cleared fine. That would have been with an FSA Orbit MX.
I had this problem on my bfe with an FSA orbit MX. I just removed the dial.
