Looking for a windproof which will  not be too warm or sweaty, had an Endura stealth jacket. and a half an half jersey in past and both way too clamy, had a Giordana jacket which was like a toweling type liner and was pretty good, but now expired, Idon't need it to be waterproof.

Loooked at Alpinestars  fleece mid jacket but a bit expensive, and ive got a Gore Phantom softshell for when its sub zero.any tips people. thanks...

I have a pertex Tog 24m with emovable arms to make a gilet that then has mesh shoulders. It also has mesh sides underarm.

By far and away they best pertex jacket I have had - mainly due to the removable arms and mesh for venting.

Prior to this I had a Montane Dyno, that was brilliant and almost totally windproof and almost waterproof.

I also wear this type of really light layer far far more than full waterproof, and can layer it simply with a couple of baselayers.

I have an Intrepid Apparel softshell jacket. It's great. Never too hot or cold, it's comfortable and keeps a lot of rain out.

You basically dont notice you're wearing it.

It also looks pretty normal, I wear it a lot when not cycling

Seems Intrepid Apparel are no more. That's a shame, I bought a few of their bits, quite liked them.
