Any hints or tips on the above please? Never done it before and don't think I can get a bike box from anywhere but do have access too lots of big strong cardboard boxes.

Post in your local facebook group asking for a bike box
I did this last week and got 3 offers!
People are hoovering up new bikes, go get the boxes before the bin men come.
