Buy an On-One fatty?
Look for 2nd hand - parts seem pretty rare.
Buy from overseas? We do have relatives spread all over Canada who could ship?
Like most people the budget needs to be as small as possible but don't want to waste on junk.
On Ones look ok for the price, especially if you go for the rolling chassis and source your own, non-specilialised parts to finish it.
Second hand is an option as a few folk find out Fat is not for them or they are attracted to newer models.
Rolling chassis wth all the fat bits for £500

Looks a bargain if you fancy fat. I don't but it still seems a great deal.
Plus your own odds and sods
Pies, curry and beer seemed to work for me.
😉
I'm in a similar quandary ....
The only stumbling block with the OO chassis for me is cranks.
That said factor in £109 for some Raceface external BB ones and your laughing .....
The only niggle is the reliability of that huuuuge hub out back.
There was a complete upgraded Fatty, with spares for sale in the classifieds recently...here
I put my Pugsley together for not alot of money, frame and forks were discounted, rims came from a cruiser shop in Germany, tyres were through the nose, but with the on one tyres now available they would have lessened the outlay. Cranks were old Race Face ISIS ones with a new DH ISIS BB, was probably about £60 all in. Tubes were schwalbe DH ones, just stretched a wee bit. Everything else was parts bin/ebay/judicious shopping.
Aren't Charge and Singular bringing out a new FatBike?
Eat lots of pies?

And Specialized and Trek and Nicolai and Norco etc etc etc
Buy mine 🙂 Link here.
The Pug is nice but too much for me I'm afraid.
More inclined to go for a Fatty to be honest.
There's a pugsley frame and fork on evil bay , 3hr 40 mins left .
Not mine by the way .
The on one is good. Recently got one, managed to ss it nicely and now just needs a trip to powder coaters as the colour is foul. Only thing is that the qr's are awful so factor in getting some hope ones or even a bent twig (which would be more secure)
Ride is brilliant, not as agile as my jones but good for a full fatty rather than a fat front. As a value for money package its hard to beat
The one on ebay is only a 16" frame. Not sure it'd be big enough - 5'.10", 32" inside leg?
