Sons back tyre is an absolute bastard to get off the rim and seems to have a habit of finding sharp tho vs in his tyres. Want some good quality levers that actually work.

Expect thousands of replies recommending Pedros. Personally, I like these Park ones and they've never let me down.

Park or Pedros. I've both, and they're as good as each other.

My bastard tyre thread resulted in a recommendation of Schwalbe levers, so, like a crazy man, I bought some.

They are brilliant.

As well as being nice and thin to get under the tightest of beads and appearing to be unbreakable, they do this too

So I'm glad I've got em. Admittedly, I do use in combination with some old Park ones, but I have a lot of tyre levers. Cos I've got a lot of tubeless (bastard) tyres.

I currently use Specialized EMT. All others I have used have snapped.

I have kids with bikes with 14" 12" and 20" wheels, which are traditionally harder to put on and remove than Tubeless tyres on rims intended for rim brakes.

These win for me.

+1 They really are. I do have other levers, but usually end up going for those the minute it's anything like tricky.

Best option for fitting really tight tyres is a bead jack / tyre mate.

these steel core ones are the strongest I`ve come across. Snapped or bent loads before I started using these.

I’ve some that are pretty good but I’m at work at the mo and all I can remember is they’re yellow and I got them at my LBS.

*smugness alert* I don’t use them much though as I’ve been tubeless for years.

I have bunch of those X Tools ones with the plastic end snapped off and the metal showing through. 🙂

The missus’s best dessert spoons are by far and away the finest tyre levers I’ve ever used. I can’t tell you the brand, but anything with a flat handle made of decent quality steel will do. If the bowl of the spoon is broad enough, it can be tucked behind spikes to hold leverage.

Not surprisongly, she’s hidden the damn things and I can’t find them anymore.

So its you that left the reviews on CRC?

I have had mine for years, so maybe they are an older design or something, but try as hard as a might I cannot break them.

Don't buy Park or Pedros if you like sliding the lever around the rim. They are both rubbish at it.

Nah, not that I remember 🙂 They were fine on MTB tyres - I think it's when I went TLE (TubeLess Eazy!) on my road wheels that they came a cropper.

You’re welcome

I know 😀
