Hello
I have a nephew, who is riding mtg-road-singlespeed...... and guess what he is a bike-messenger, riding about 110 km everyday, a bit of a proud uncle moment here 🙂
-i am thinking of buying him a tool-kit, to get him a long, price range 100-150, i have looked at CRC, wiggle, birzman, bike24.....
Thanks..
Cheers
Jesper
There's a wicked tool kit for sale on the classifieds. Everything he will ever need and in a tool chest too.

Would be interested to see his "elevation" though.
It's my kit for sale!
To be honest, if he just wants to get along and isn't really into bike mechanics or fixing stuff generally, it maybe a bit overkill.
£150 can get you quite a lot of nice tools if you ignore the bike specific kits.
A bit over budget but VERY nice tools;

Or stuff like this;

With £50 left over to get him some bike specific stuff;

And he ends up with nice stuff that can get him by and if he looks after it will last a long time. Perhaps another family member could buy him a nice tool bag;

Every man should have a tool kit 😀
Just a suggestion.
Would be interested to see his "elevation" though.
Really? You're Johnny-Two-Shedding a relative of an internet stranger over how tough their mileage is?
I just looked at it and I am tempted. Why are you selling, wrecker? Giving up on being handy?
Don't do it tootall! Dont...do...it!

Quite the opposite! 🙂

I also have some delicious Unior and Park tools. I do love tinkering and was hoping to do a little bit for locals and friends for beer tokens at some point.
Given he's SS he's already reduced his maintenance. How about getting him nice examples of what he'll use most? There are some SS-specific multi tools out there and he'll always need a nice hex set, pedal spanner, chain splitter, chain whip and a few others. Get him the better ones now and he'll not need them again.
Get a leyzne tool kit
then any workshop bits on top of that like T handle allen keys and chain whips and that.

Someone had to say it!
