Down for red bull hardline this weekend. Watching the race Sunday, and have Saturday to explore some of the trails around the area. Where is the best spot for some steep, natural Enduro lines? Anyone about Saturday morning for a ride would be even better. Thanks

Head to the Cli-machx trail north of Machynlleth, it’s an OK trail in its own right, but there’s loads of off piste trails in the forest. Take a look on Strava, Trailforks and the like.

So much riding in the area, but all the off piste stuff is pretty hard to find. There is some stuff south of Machynlleth near Forge, this was just used for the British Enduro, it's on Strava, but it's just up and down, all be it good, but over in a couple of mins, and the other stuff used for racing is on private grounds so a no, no. Then there is a stupid amount of loam in the Dyfi Forest, the best starting point is a village called Aberangell, (north E of Machynlleth) again have a look on Strava at recent rides in that area. Such a great place for mountain biking.

I really think dyfi valley has more potential than tweed valley, so many amazing trails

Check strava, ukge routes etc
