Hello
So will go to the Munich area..
Looking for for good singletrack trails... lift access could be nice...
Not in the best shape, so no crazy climbing!
Never been to a bikepark.. but riding broad slopes with jumps, is not my cup of tea...
So looking for long technical singletrack trails.. guided tours could also be nice
Bike setup: Specialized enduro 2021
Bringing the family with me, so if any family oriented around that would be cool
Cheers

Maybe not the best answer but check trailforks if you haven't already:

All bike parks should be on there
I'm in Munich.
Not much lift assisted riding in the Bavarian alps, and that there is isn't worth the effort, imo.
Leogang and Saalbach are not far away and doable as a day trip from Munich.
I've got maps for more or less the whole of the Bavarian alps, all of them with decent trails highlighted. If you're in town let me know and I can point you towards a few tours worth riding.
Thanks man!
The lift at Leogang, does it go to some decent singletrack ???
There are singletrack type tracks at Leogang, Hangman 1, Forsthof Alm trail, Steinbergbahn line but it is a bike park. There’s singletrack from the top of Leogang over to Saalbach then up the X-line gondola to do the Hacklberg trail down into Hinterglemm (awesome). From there a few options back down to Saalbach then back on the singletrack to Leogang.
Big 5 challenge
Because of the 2m rule in Germany/Austria there isn’t a lot of what we call singletrack to ride but definitely enough in the bike parks for a few days without hitting the jump lines.
The lift pass also covers you for the Kitzsteinhorn which has a super long singletrack line on the bottom 2/3
Absolutely loads of family type stuff to do around the Zell/Leogang/Saalbach area.
Try searching for old posts mentioning Leogang in the forum, I’ve written a few
Big 5 (maybe 6 now?) is excellent fun though short sharp climb from the gondola at the top of the mountain above Hinterglemm and easy to mess up the route when coming back up from Leogang to Saalbach.
Reasonable fitness required, as even with gondola/chairlift uplifts a few sharp sharp climbs and a ruck of fast descents need to be up for.
I really enjoyed the circuit ... even did an extra descent in to Leogang with a couple of German blokes I’d joined up with who enjoyed taking the mickey about Brexit, though they thought huge loss for both EU (especially Germany)and UK.
super !
- any good hotels close by ...?
Bringing with me girlfriend and a 2.5 year old boy.... any good oriented family hotels close by ???
A gazzilion!
Zell Am See would be a good place to base yourself (long ride or drive into Saalbach) or actually in Saalbach.
I wouldn’t stay in Leogang, there’s not much there really.
There’s Lidos in both Zell & Saalbach, loads of kids activity trails etc
If you have a car then you can stay anywhere in the area. Our place is 15 minutes from Leogang in a lovely village called Maria Alm.
Loads of family stuff to do and a decent flow trail. There’s a bit of info about the area on my super professional home-made in Notepad website (that I badly need to update)
If you are around the Traunstein area you’re really close to Bikepark Samerberg too
Not ridden there myself and I think it’s quite small but worth seeing if they have any lift assisted singletrack.
