Currently have hope tech levers and wondered what shifter setup is best to keep the bars clutter free or get the best spacing.
Opinions on the below options if anyone has used them
1. Keep my brakes and new shifters which arrived today.
So that's hope tech levers with XT M780
With these being bar mounted I'm not optimistic its going to be the best solution
2. Keep my brakes, get the hope match maker clamps and the XT m780 I-spec shifters
3. Most expensive but if it will give the best results I will do it.
Get new brakes XT 785 and run with XT M780 I-spec shifters.
I have a right hand reverb and do have a front mech so not sure if I am going to get away with running the remote on the opposite side upside down.
Hopefully someone will have tried one of the options above and be able to advise.
I run M785 brakes with 2x10 M780 shifters with the i-spec mounts and a RH Reverb upside down.
It does look very neat and as clutter free as possible if you run a front mech.

It is tight but doable, so tight that I have to loosen the Reverb clamp and move the lever to alter the return speed.
Hope do matchmaker clamps to run with XT shifters which might be your cheapest option!
The other option is to run the Reverb lever outrboard of your shifter/brake setup. I guess it'll be a bit of trial and error to see what works best for you.
Do you have a picture from the other way so looking at the shifter levers and reverb remote.
I know roughly where abouts I would like them so if I can see that on your setup it will give me an idea if this will work for me.
I like to run my shifters inboard of the brake leaver and my quite a margin as I find the upper lever can be too close to my thumb otherwise.
Thanks
This is the only other picture I have at the moment as I'm in the process of changing bars and I just happen to have some pics from a while ago.
Hope this gives you a good idea of how the lever works positionally in relation to the shifters and brake lever.
