Where from, tell more?

I just got some five ten basic's, for 40.00 delivered from some place in Leeds but they are way too nice to ruin mountain biking when they look so good with jeans...

watches thread with interest, although I'm convinced that DC's with the extra grippy soles are just as good! available from TKMAX for about a tenner so you can guiltlessly trash them the first ride out, bloody comfy too 🙂

I Need a rear hub because I don't like my XT one on my full sus bike and don't want to use the wheel off the 456 even though I can only ride one bike at a time and I want to get rid of my Xt dual controls and get normal levers and I need 510 shoes because someone said I needed them with flat pedals that I got because I wanted to try them instead of SPD's for a bit which leaves the XTR SPD's in their box still.

Not sure if I want or need any of it and could get by without any of it I guess. But since I jacked smoking a couple of years back my mountain biking habit suddenly got more expensive. Seems I have to be addicted to something and mountain bike riding probably won't give me cancer but makes me smell on occasions

jam bo, nope, I speak for a position of extreme ignorance, one second only to my preferred status of halfwitted hypocrite 😆

the DG's have soles made out of super tacky rubber which has all these little pill shapes that the pins go between, its like being clipped!

Negative. Having used both there is no comparison, 5 10s will keep your feet drier, more protected and virtually glued to your pedals. Neither are particularly good at scrambling up muddy banks but again 5 10s have the advantage here. I reckon mine have even saved me from at least one broken ankle.

DC's generally cost at least £20 from TK max, 5 10's will easily out last three or four pairs of skate shoes when subjected to the abuse mountainbikers give them. Try them once, never go back.

Stiff is doing 10% of orders over GBP 50 an offer that includes 5.10 shoes:

http://www.stif.co.uk/shop/mb_software_products.asp?name=five%20ten&cat=211&store=mtb

Despite the fact that it says 5% on the page the cart automatically updates to 10%...
