Not after a seatpost debate (this time!) but after what you think is the best cable seatpost remote?

I have a cable post and remote is ok, just a little bulky so trying to source a more slimline aftermarket purchase but can't find anything!!!

Ks lev ODI one. Some hate it but I genuinely can't see why.

Can you buy the remote on its own?

I run 1x10 and I use an ispec left hand xt shifter. Nice and neat.

KS ODI type and Southpaw (shifter paddle shape) are both available separately.

I've got a couple of ODI style ones spare as I replaced with Southpaws - if interested drop me a line? Email in profile.

KS Lev one is really good IMO. I've just switched to a Reverb and it's alright, but the lever action's not as nice and the bulk of the thing makes it much harder to locate- I just can't get it where I want it. Pretty unimpressed, extra complexity and delicacy in order to work less well.

Sillyoldman ygm.

Ks one looks the part, anyone know if the odi clamp can just be used on the bars standalone?

Yup (best done that way IMO, it's too close to the grip otherwise, can't get my thumb to it easily)

Couldn't get on with lev so got the remote from a kronolog and it's ace. Like a shifter but not as massive

Well having got a KS ODI style remote (thanks sillyoldman) and installed it's much better!

I agree that fits better off the grip as seems more natural for the thumb IMO, so all in all very pleased to go with the KS one!

Cheers for all your help
