Fed up of thorn punctures on local rides but can't afford to go tubeless just yet, so as an interim measure I plan to put sealant in a standard inner tube. Which sealant would you recommend?
I used Stans. After multiple punctures in the same spot on the tube, (caused by the wire in the tyre no less) I junked the tube and used it to protect the chain stay. Upon cutting it open I found a small rubber ball.
Stans probably isn't best IME.
Cafe latex is pretty good I've never had any issues with it.
Anyone else got experience of stans in tubes as you would expect it to work well?
I have Just Riding Along's wheel milk in my tubes . Not let me down yet and its been in there since Jan. One bottle shared between the 2 tubes.
