Best rim tape - woven nylon or velox cotton? Or some other sort?

Not sure how one is better than the other. Rim tape either works or it doesn't. I have used both nylon and cloth and found both to "work" equally well.
I have however had problems on the road bike with really thin OE nylon (not the decent stuff you buy in the shops) and also with electrical tape.
