If you were taking a couple of novices out on the dark peak to show them red like trails, where would you recommend?

I think the descent from top of win hill to the gate and then down hope brink is fast and not overtly technical.
Also shatton is a good climb nice view and easy down either side

Lockerbrook, Hagg Farm, Jaggers Clough, they're quite smooth but still fun (well I think they are). Not sure how best to link them up without having to bash your way over a load of loose babyhead rocks at some point though...

The drop down from Whinstone Lee Tor isn't too techy and it definitely isn't steep, apart from the last rocky bit down the pub and some sweet sweet beer.
