Need to get myself a pump for inflating tubeless tyres. Any recommendations for less than £50? I’ve seen a Bontrager and Specialized around the price point, but wondering what else is out there. Thanks in advance.

I recently bought This From PX and it has worked the only two times I’ve tried it to pop tyres on to a pair of cheap narrow non tubeless branded rims that I had taped up not expecting them to work.

I've got the lifeline one from Wiggle for about 50 squid.
Works well and is well made, but I haven't compared to others.

Lifeline one works for me. Something's come loose inside after about 2 years and the shaft wobbles while pumping now so maybe not the most long lasting. It was only £35 though.

Any pump and an Airshot or similar.

This looks good - https://www.merlincycles.com/beto-surge-tubeless-floor-pump-122118.html

I've got the Airshot thing, the one that falls over all the bloody time, the hose is too short and the valve leaks. So not that!

Lifeline one here too for a couple of years. It was considerably cheaper than the alternatives at the time, so that's why I got it. I think its chuck is actually really good, but the pump body is to a price point. I'm perfectly happy with it overall. Whether the chamber is big enough to seat something really troublesome I'm not sure, but thus far for me it hasn't failed.

I bought a Schwalbe Tire Booster from Bike Discount in Germany, cost £40 plus postage of about £5. Pump it up to 10/11 BAR with a normal race/floor pump and its ready to go. It's currently on offer at 48 euros. Bike Discount are always worth a look and do some very good deals on the website. Interesting comment from DezB re his one falling over, the Schwalbe one doesn't sit flat either, but it doesn't fall over though. I wonder if these units have a slightly convex base due to the high pressure they have to withstand?
