What do people use to take out on rides? Need something that I can pack into a jersey ideally.

Cheers,
Andy

The best portable bike lock is a friend.

Packs into a jersey easily - but not your jersey, OK?

I use an Edinburgh Cycles cable lock it is a bit of plastic holding a 1mm expanding cable that can be pulled out to 1M and locks back into the plastic it stops anyone just wheeling the bike away and may survive 30 seconds of attack . I think it is fine for pub stops and bobbing in and out of shops.

It is the size of a fag packet and weighs about the same.
