Not cheap but Superstar sell 24" 'performance' kids wheels or you can get a rim off the for £50.00 and build yourself!

24 inch parts are a nightmare.

I'm trying to find a disk ready fork because one of ours is broken just out of warranty...that size of bike seems to be regarded as "disposable" for those types of spares except at very high end and even then not much if any choice.

As above, keep existing hub or get a cheap 36H and build up a BMX rim.

@garage-dweller suspension fork I presume? If you have a tapered headtube look at the Manitou Machete J-Unit.

I’ve got a 24” wheel set that came off my sons transition ripcord before I upgraded the wheels to Stans crests. I’m away in the alps at the minute but DM me on Sunday when I’m home and I can give more details / photos. Wouldn’t want a huge amount for them and can probably throw in some 24” tyres I’ve got lying around as well.

Condor Cycles sell 24" MTB rims (tubeless friendly, fairly light, probably just Alexrims) for a good price that you could get laced onto your existing hub, or take this as a good excuse to rebuild onto a cheap Deore hub and get him a more modern drivechain. My experience is that a medium cage Sora 9-speed mech is nice and compact but can drive a 11-32 cassette, which will most likely feel like a great upgrade.

Been having these issues as bought a 13in frame to build up for my son as he’s outgrown his Frog 55. It’s a 26in wheel disc frame and the plan was to run 24in wheels before moving up to 26 when he’s bigger. I had some spare pro 2 hubs but there’s a scarcity of decent rims out there - eventually got some kinlin ones from SJS Cycles. XM 250 - seem light and not too narrow internally.
