I really 'suffer' from streaming eyes, even off the bikes. For years I have used loads of glasses mainly from Screwfix; all great but still get wind round the sides and they steam up. I am partial to the idea of them being cheap, cheerful and practical.
Got a couple of quid going and looking at Oakleys; whats good? I want near as clear/photochromatic. I spend enough time indoors and want clarity and protection.
I also want protection, I kind of like my eyes and find them very useful!
Have a look at the Oakley Evzero Range. Doubt you’ll get much more coverage. I use the photochromic version for road riding and really rate them
Thanks, I don't like the shape though.
I want a traditional look, I have some Randolph Engineering glasses, but I look like something out of Chips, well more Fish and Chips.
Is Photochromatic the best or the candy coloured other lenses?
Oakley photochromic are excellent, I rarely notice them changing.
I wear radars at work a lot of the time, and always when im on my bike.
They are good for me. Everyone is a little different though, so it may be a case of finding a shop nearby and trying on what they have in stock.
i really like my adidas halfrim pro, got them with the vario lens.
Hugely adjustable, can change the angle on the lens, comes with a sweat bar that is removable and also comes in different sizes.
They do 2 different vario lenses. One that goes totally clear and one that remains a bit tinted.
Jawbreakers, best glasses I've had. The adjustable legs means they work with most helmets and they offer huge amounts of coverage.
Everyone likes different things. I like Jawbreakers/Racing Jackets and Flak Jackets for bike use, fit my head and do what I need them too.
I have some Oakley Turbine with photochromatic lenses with a prescription (done by Ciliary Blue)
I think they work fantastically well for cycling.
My Wife's not very keen on the style; they're a large'ish rectangular lens that wraps around with thick 'arms'
I like the level of protection from debris. They do get a little bit steamy when working very hard on the road bike. Mountain biking I've never had the problem.
I also got them for a very good price <£70 (plus the lens upgrade) I think.
I have the jawbreaker photochromics and they are so good I got rid of all my other glasses- not cheap, but if looked after will last a decade. I sold my 2003 M frames for £35 on ebay- this worked out as £4 a year in depreciation.
They often are included in wiggle spend and save sales, I bough standard one and a separate lens and sold the original lens on, making them work out as £85 on spend and save.
Have a look at Sungod Pacebreakers. Ive just moved from Oakley Radars to these. Very light, excellent clarity, no misting and very customisable yet half the price of oakleys.
IMHO the optic clarity is better than Oakleys.
Radars for me, I'd get Radar EV's if I was buying again and had the case.
Jawbreakers are great for the coverage, but the lower corners of the frame gives me a terrible blind spot when shoulder checking on the road so I can't wear them.
Jawbreakers for me. Look ridiculous off the bike but offer amazing protection and field of view. The can fog up a bit on long slow climbs though but thats probably my snail pace.
I picked up a pair of the Crossrange ones with Prizm lenses. nice. comfy. look great but not worn em a great deal yet to give fair assessment

Thanks everyone, it gets more confusing on the website!
My main issue is stopping the eyewatering and looking fairly normal!
These look ok
Jawbreakers for me too.
Oakley lenses are made for specific sports or activities to block & allow certain types of light optimising field of vision,I recently got some M2 prisim road bloody awesome, they offer the usual high quality forget their on,fit & feel I prefer the single lens myself.
Best to go try some even think about more than one lens if you intend using them in varying conditions, although iridiums are so good I have worn mine even at dusk & can still see everything.
I've had several pairs over the past 20+ years,my M frames that I've just replaced where around 18 years old in vgc but you'd never guess,so I certainly had my monies worth ! sold on here 2 weeks back. Expensive yes you do get what you pay for with Oakley though but you only get one pair of eyes buy the best 😎
My personal favourite Oakley's are a 20+ year old pair of 1st generation straight jackets , plain black with a gold iridium lens . Like em so much I bought a flashier pair with a flame design and fire iridium lens that I hardly wear. Quite like the half jacket XLJ's that I have too with photochromic lens .
Which lens did you get and where from?
These are mine - £89 for all that, same blue lenses highpeakrider links to. Not photo lenses though, yet bigger coverage than Radars.

Note that Blue with the odd pink highlight are 2018 team colours for me, hence the customisation choice.
I bought some (good) fake Racing Jackets off ebay for £8. I wore them for a few rides and found the fit was perfect. So I bought some real ones. I'm sure Oakley don't condone this as a method of trialling them but it worked for me.
I have 2 pairs of Flak jacket xlj’s with extra lenses from Revent optics. I found them ok on the roadie but debris managed to get under the bottom edge on the mtb.
Now I’ve switched to Radar Ev’s with Trail prism, clear and positive iridium lenses for the mtb and they do give better coverage.
