The Foxy is 140mm. You'll be wanting a Dune.

Or this one, if you don't want forward geometry.

Still think it's probably this, if you can find one.

[img] [/img]

Although, this (what I ended up with instead) is growing on me in an industrial, functional way. Does look much uglier in bigger frame sizes though I think.

I'm not sure about the enve wheels, they need shiny black decals, instead of white, but other than that it wins so far

I've been checking out the yt capra recently.

Looks good value for money.

(Can't post a picture because I don't have the necessary forum skillz)

Capra or the Canyon thing Joe Barnes rides.

All the above fail due to lack of yellow wheels.

The intense looks way nicer than the nomad IMO (Apart from all that purple bling obvs)

I really like the alpine 160 too, would love a ride on one of the new ones.

Commencal's new FS for 2015 with the top shock mount hidden in the top tube looks lush, almost has the lines of a hardtail.
Most of the newer good looking FS bikes seem to be aping HT lines with sloping top tubes seamlessly joining similarly angled seat stays.

I do like a nice Rocket. Should have moved quicker and bought one when I had the chance.

I like that Ion 16 as well, quite a similar look.

Re the wheels, I'm STILL waiting on some dark grey stickers to replace the shouty ones (that look pretty second hand now, and not quite as loud actually)

I was quite taken with the focus Sam 1.0 I saw in les Deux alpes this summer:

http://www.focus-bikes.com/gb/en/bikes/2014/mtb-fullsuspension/sam.html

It was absolutely stunning in the flesh and incredibly quiet out on the hill. Daft price though.

Sorry it's not an up to date one as I've upgraded it a bit since this was taken. It's now got a One-Up 40t, Reverb and a set of Fox 36's on it.

Ok so it's not quite 160mm but I still love my bronson. So versatile, my hardtails have become virtually redundant now.

I was breaking that chain - I've never owned a bike with that much travel - I mince too much to make use of the travel I have got!

Aesthetics are a funny thing eh? I'd have to wear a blindfold if I was riding that Knolly or the Metas above.

But the Intense in raw is quite arousing.

I think I've come round to Nicolais too.

I've come to the conclusion that Intense's generally ming for me.

The bronze Nicolai looks quite nice, would look better with the shock the other way round though. That frame has improved so much since they have slimmed down the swing linkage.

The Ion16 is a nice looking bike too. It's not enduro though, it's got no water bottle mounts! :p

The prize for most improved look has to go to the Commencal Meta.

From an anorexic, flexy, bendy thing to one the meanest, badest (this is a word) looking machines on the planet.

What a shame they had to go and paint it

Still looks good, but I prefer the original. How about the wheel logos back in yellow to match the maxxis. That could be a winner. You can't have carbon rims like that without the logo showing.

prefer the nomad white the white wheel decal personally, especially when they are mudded up a bit. you can go too far with the stealth thing, like over doing colour components, namely those hideous purple hope bits. love the frame but not keen on the stealth fork graphics either. infact the stealth nomad with normal pikes and Flow rims would be mint.

I think this has great form and function. No unnecessary swoopy bits without the industrial look of a straight tubed conventional frame.

tomhoward / rickdraper FTW (if he posts it here that is!)

nothing, I repeat nothing is prettier than those nomads in the flesh

that new stumpy endure is also a beaut, the photo doesn't do it justice (although it still looks nice), but in the flesh it looks absolutely stunning

still a nomad stealth all day, or the lairy one like ricks with fox 36's on

I agree. Took delivery of mine last week and was mightily impressed. Even my mrs had to admit it looked good! The form in 3D looks fantastic and proportions are spot on with the large frame size. Didn't buy it for the looks alone though - honest!

Expensive but not as expensive as it could have been, thanks to Specialized, or as bad injury wise. Wont even start the debate on helmets but had to bin mine.

Not particularly fond of any bike brands, have got a couple of Santa Cruz and until recently a Marin. We have tended to buy Specialized due to the fact that their bikes suit our riding style and when it hits the fan, both at home and abroad they have been first class.
