Mini-me No.1 is getting a new bike for his birthday as he's outgrown his 14" frog, he'll be getting a 16" frog.
As expected the plastic flat pedals are a bit sketchy out on the trail and in cx races when his shoes get muddy from the inevitable walking / running bits.
I'm thinking something like Wellgo V6 copies, how are they for size for little feet.
He's nearly 4 with size 10 (J) feet btw
Blackspire El Gordo is quite small
I bought my son a pair of wellgo R146 ones last month, been used for 20 miles on road but he wants to go SPD. These are the smallest decent platform I could find anywhere.

Well after a bit of a wait these Wellgo KC008 pedals turned up today from Taiwan via eBay for £16.99 all in.
I think you'll agree they look just right and on trialing them under a kids size 10 trainer they're bang on, they also weigh next to bugger all.
