I'm looking to go bagless, and since I don't have a fancy SWAT box, I'm considering getting a bottle cage that can hold a multitool (and possibly pump).

In order of preference, I'm thinking of the following:

Lezyne Flow Storage Cage
Topeak Ninja TC Mountain
Syncros Matchbox Coupe

Inner tube could then be strapped separately to the frame or the the underside of my saddle.

Does anyone use any of the above? Anything else I should consider?

Use the Topeak, but mine has tyre levers attached to the cage. Does the job, quite like to the multi-tool.

Could just use your standard cage with a 1up pump and multi tool:

Then Strap a tube on the frame.

Thanks for the ideas. The Piggy looks pretty nifty. I also just came across Wolf Tooth's B-RAD System, which is kinda similar, but with a few more options.

In the end, I ordered the following in the hope of achieving bagless nirvana:

Topeak Ninja Cage SK
Topeak Toolbox Ninja T20
Topeak RaceRocket MT pump
Backcountry Research Mutherload frame strap

I'll let you know how I get on with these further down the line.

The multi-tool is really good, just mind that you don't lose the chain hook like I did. It comes off quite easy if you're not careful. I went with Ninja T Mountain which has been really great.

Why not a frame bag? I use the Blackburn Outpost Corner bag which fits a Blackburn Mammoth CO2'Fer combined pump/CO2, plus a tubeless repair kit, multitool, tyre levers, etc.

Bought the outpost corner - shape is perfect for my following - but can't get a bottle in at the same time. Anyone make something similar but about 15 percent smaller?

I liked this King Kargo Cage enough to try it.

I can’t really comment on it beyond it holds stuff, doesn’t fall off and you virtually forget it’s there.

The Blackburn Outpost certainly looks great, but it wouldn't work on my bike, as the horst link frame design means that there wouldn't be space left to fit a water bottle 🙁
