So my buddy doesnt want to fork out for a joystick. What are the best cheap alternatives for a helmet light?
hes got one of those ebay chinese XMLT6 lights for the bars if that makes any difference?
How cheap? I've got a Lezyne Powerdrive which is almost as bright as the Joystick and cost about £70. It fits in the Joystick helmet mount too, though I think Lezyne are about to bring out their own mount.
Do a search on here and lots will come up
Both fit in the joystick helmet mount
the torch in 2nd link above, 🙂
£13 light, £17 Joystick mount, + £12 for charger and 2 batteries.

I don't use it on the bike, but it's damn bright and well made. In theory you can put new modules in as they are updated.
