Never bothered with this before, but got a new frame coming and want to protect it a bit.
Unless you're planning to go down the custom invisiframe kit route then I'd highly recommend this stuff.
Bike tart tape has always been really good when I've used it.
I've always found bike tart tape sufficient, look at the invisiframe though its excellent stuff.
Buy a set of this. It's better quality than any DIY attempt and holding up strong after 16 months of abuse around the world. It's not as expensive as it seems when you think about the price of your new bike.

I've used both JRA copter tape and Bike Tart tape, the JRA stuff is slightly thicker and seems to be slightly harder wearing (in that scrapes on the Bike Tart stuff showed up a little bit more).
I found the invisiframe stuff a bit thin. I use paragon tapes from ebay
Holy thread resurrection..
Got a link P20?
I've just ordered from paragon again too. I used the 0.36mm tape previously but found it a bit thick, so trying the 0.2 stuff this time.
Got a link to their shop bigjim?
