Im after a chain lube that doesnt attract sand like the stuff Im using now.
Any recommendations please?

The former, nothing stands a chance, the latter, anything dry.

There shouldn't be much/any lube on the outside of the chain. Lube on the outside of the chain is like putting grease on the outside of your headset cups, it's doing nothig for the bearings (or bushing in the chains case).

A dry wax lube maybe, or nothing at all might not be such a daft idea.
