Help - trying to get my head around what the differences would be between using either std v brake levers vs canti brake levers with mini v brakes (85mm arms), for a flat bar hybrid thingy.

If it's a flat bar hybrid then I'd get rid of the mini vs and use proper ones with v brake levers. As far as I can see, the only reason to ever use mini-vs would be as a canti replacement on a drop bar bike.

I think monsieur Barnes you make a bloody good point 🙄 in my defence I did arrive at the juncture after trialing drop bars...
