Thanks for sharing. It's crazy how far BMX has come. That vid has a lot of big & super tech stuff, but with style at the same time. It's the one problem with some with the tech riding, the style gets lost. EG Daniel Dhers no style whatsoever.

Dont get me wrong - it looks tech and hard but quad whips, double flips etc just leave me cold. Circus tricks.
Show me doyle, alcanatra, mihelich, van homan. Would rather see a slow 3 over a massive set rather than some double flip with a barspin. A street gap or wallride than no handed front flip in a comp.

I honestly had no idea what was happening in most of the first vid..
The guy jumps, the bike is a blur of wheels underneath the rider, and then they land it.
Bonkers stuff but kinda agree with above poster that it's a bit too mental!
That was amazing. Made me wish I had a bmx for a few minutes until I thought I can't do anything remotely similar anyway... Perhaps the pedalling!
The first video might have some insane riding in it but seeing as the quality is akin to Beadle era you've been framed, I'll take the second one, any time.

I see your point. i once watched a video of some bmx trails. about two thirds in and there hadn't been a single backflip. just lots of smooth rhythm and style. i was beginning to think backflips were banned, either from the trails, or the video! was disappointed when people started flipping... impressive no doubt, but so ubiquitous.
The Greg Illingworth video is so good. Proper bike riding 🙂
